- The Congress was in session from 4 Jul 1775 to 17 Jul 1775. Although its term was set to expire on 20 Aug 1775, no further meetings were held after 17 Jul 1775.
- The election of Elbert as President was reported in the Georgia Gazette, and he is presumed to have served for the duration of the session. The minutes of the Congress have not survived.
- The Congress was in session from 16 Nov 1775 to 9 Dec 1775. Although its term was set to expire on 31 Dec 1775, no further meetings were held after 9 Dec 1775.
- The Congress was adjourned after the election of the delegates of Georgia to the Continental Congress on 2 Feb 1776 and before the convening of a newly elected Council of Safety on 20 Feb 1776.
- Bulloch was elected President of the Province by the Provincial Congress on 19 Apr 1776 and Wereat was elected Speaker as attested in the commission of Bulloch signed by Wereat as Speaker on 19 Apr 1776. The Congress was apparently adjourned c. 1 May 1776 when Bulloch was inaugurated.
