- Prevost was appointed Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Georgia by a proclamation of the military commanders of the British army of 4 Mar 1779 and assumed the functions of office after his arrival to Savannah on or before 15 Mar 1779 (the first proclamation is dated 17 Mar 1779).
- Wright arrived to Savannah on 14 Jul 1779 and assumed the functions of office on 20 Jul 1779.
