Presidente della Repubblica Cisalpina
in accordance with a decree approved by
Consulta straordinaria
of the Cisalpine Republic at the session held on 25 Jan 1802 in Lyon, France. He accepted the office at the session of the Consulta of 26 Jan 1802 when the Constitution of the Italian Republic was adopted.

on 26 Jan 1802, and was installed in office at a public ceremony in Milan on 14 Feb 1802.
