[1]	The royal style and titles were changed in accordance with a proclamation issued by command of the Queen on 1 Nov 1970 (effective on publication in Fiji Gazette, No. 46, 27 Nov 1970, Supplement, p. 573).
[2]	The Queen of Fiji rejected the proclamation of the Republic of Fiji (7 Oct 1987) and claimed to maintain her position until 15 Oct 1987 when a statement issued for the Queen declared "the ending of Fijian allegiance to the Crown."
