  16 Feb 1919, terms of members of the Provisional National Assembly expired according to a law of 18 Dec 1918 (State Council continued to function according to a law of 6 Feb 1919)

Biography:
Christian-Socialist politician, prelate. Studied theology. Member of the Landtag of Upper Austria (1899–1927), Reichsrat (1908), Landeshauptmann of Upper Austria (4 May 1908 - 8 Feb 1927); member (21 Oct 1918 - 16 Feb 1919) and president of the Provisional National Assembly (30 Oct 1918 - 16 Feb 1919); member of the State Council for German Austria (30 Oct 1918 - 7 Mar 1919); member (4 Mar 1919 - 10 Nov 1920) and Second President (5 Mar 1919 - 10 Nov 1920) of the Constituent National Assembly. Member of the Nationalrat (10 Nov 1920 – 8 Feb 1927). [1][5]
