[1]	Lerma was elected by the Asamblea de la Comunidad Valenciana/Assemblea de la Comunitat Valenciana on 12 Aug 1982 and appointed by a royal decree of 23 Sep 1982. He took office at a handover ceremony on 26 Nov 1982 and was formally installed at a public ceremony on 13 Dec 1982.
[2]	Lerma was (re-)elected by the Cortes Valencianas/Corts Valencianes on 22 Jun 1983, appointed by a royal decree of 24 Jun 1983, and took oath of office on 28 Jun 1983.
