[1] Submitted his resignation on 19 Mar 1926 and departed from the seat of government for Hydra on 24 Mar 1926, but continued to exercise intermittently the functions of office, signing legislative acts (the last one is dated 2 Apr 1926); in accordance with a decree of 6 Apr 1926, Pankalos formally assumed the functions of head of state as the President of the Government.
[2] Pending the re-assumption of the office of the President of the Republic by Kountouriōtēs, who arrived to Athens on 23 Aug 1926 and issued a proclamation to that effect on 24 Aug 1926.
