[2] The Diet held its last meeting 15/28 Nov 1917 before it was prevented from holding sessions by a military revolutionary committee in Tallinn, representing the Soviet Russian government. [3] When the Diet reconvened in Tallinn 20 Nov 1918, Strandman who had been appointed a minister of the Provisional Government did not resume his office as chairman of the Diet.
